The Nebraska Daylily Society (NDS) invites you to join us on Friday, July 5 through Sunday, July 7, in Omaha, Nebraska, for the 2019 AHS Region One Meeting. The host hotel is the Marriott Hotel, 10220 Regency Circle, Omaha, Nebraska 68114-3706, 402-399-9000. Mention “Nebraska Daylily Society” to get the reservation group rate of $106 per night.

Your registration includes the bus tour and four meals: Friday banquet, Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch at Keast Daylily Gardens, and Saturday banquet. Guest meals for Friday banquet and/or Saturday banquet and/or Saturday breakfast are also available.

  • Ahmad's Persian Cuisine, 1008 Howard Street, Omaha, 7.7 miles east of the hotel—Ahmad's Persian Cuisine has been in business for over 25 years and is an Old Market staple. The restaurant is open on Tuesday-Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to close (between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.), on Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to close (between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.), and is closed on Monday.   • Boiler Room, 1110 Jones Street, Omaha, 7.7 miles east of the hotel—The Boiler Room offers an interesting artisan menu sourced from growers, with wonderful reviews.   • Le Bouillon, 1017 Howard Street, Omaha, 7.7 miles east of the hotel—Le Bouillon offers rural French cuisine and everyday French comfort foods made with locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant is open on Tuesday-Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and is closed on Monday.   • M’s Pub, 422 South 11th Street, Omaha, 7.9 miles east of the hotel—M’s Pub was inspired by the owner’s visit to Washington, D.C.’s Georgetown blended with her recollection of London’s sophisticated pubs. M’s offers delicious food, and is a favorite of the locals. The restaurant is open on Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight and on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. with extended bar hours.   • Spaghetti Works, 502 South 11th Street, Omaha, 7.9 miles east of the hotel—Spaghetti Works features pasta, Italian specialties, grilled entrees, and pizza for a reasonable price at this location plus one other location at 8416 Park Drive just south of Q Street.   • Spencer’s for Steaks and Chops, 102 S 10th Street, Omaha, 7.7 miles east of the hotel—Spencer’s is just north of the Old Market in downtown Omaha and offers steaks, lamb chops, pork chops, veal chops, fresh seafood, pastas, and homemade desserts.   • Old Mattress Factory Bar & Grill (The Matt), 501 North 13th Street, 7.8 miles east of the hotel—The Matt is located in north downtown in a renovated historic mattress factory close to TD Ameritrade stadium, home of the College World Series.   • Upstream Brewing Company, 514 South 11th Street, Omaha, 7.9 miles east of the hotel—The Upstream Brewing Company offers authentic pub-style food and wonderful craft beers. Waiters are dressed like monks. The restaurant offers U.S.D.A. Choice Nebraska Angus beef seared over an open flame—try the ribeye. Also offered are chicken and seafood entrees.   • Gorat’s Steak House, 4917 Center Street, Omaha, 5.8 miles southeast of the hotel—An Omaha tradition for over 70 years, Gorat’s Steak House is a favorite of the “Oracle of Omaha,” Warren Buffett of Berkshire Hathaway.
